Bronze tripod pot or Ding with sinuous dragon-like decoration and a wooden display stand.
A ceremonial cauldron first cast in bronze during the Shang dynasty, possession of adding was restricted to the elite classes.
Possession of one or more ancient dings has since become associated with power.
